Fits:Ā All E36 Non-M & E36 M3 (some production years differ).
Benefits: -Eliminates flex to steering inputsĀ (control) -Provides a rigid connection from steering wheel to tyresĀ (driver feedback) -Removes rubber from close vicinity to exhaust manifold (longevity) Note:Ā A solid steering coupler will not increase NVH. Steering input is sharpened and feedback on front grip through the steering wheel increased.Ā
Material:Ā 6061-T6 Aluminium - Anodised Purple High Tensile,Ā zinc coated set screws & nyloc nuts
Upgrading to a Solid Steering Coupler is a great way to eliminate numbness in the steering wheel and provide superior feedback to your fingertips as to what the front wheels are doing and how much grip they have left to give.Ā The factory Right Hand Drive (RHD)Ā rubber donut often fails prematurely due to beingĀ so close to the exhaust manifold. This solid unit will last the lifetime of your E36 and provide better response to yourĀ steering input while being cheaper than a new replacement.
