Through careful testing of the stock ECU and Race ECU calibration, we were able to find 22 power maps and limiters holding back the otherwise stout 180HP powerplant. Our RSV4 Stage 1+ ECU Calibration with Handheld Tuner converts the bike to full "Alpha-N" fueling and utilizes the factory oxygen sensors for precise fuel corrections, both on and off throttle. Improvements in throttle response, ridability, cruising and of course, POWER were all immediately apparent. Limiters raised for racing and road course use where you need to extend gears is taken care of across the board.
ADVANTAGES WITH STAGE 1
- On average, gains of 7-10HP were found over the Race ECU baseline on a typical exhaust/filter bike on 93 octane fuel (Larger gains with VP race fuel).
- Early Fan-On - At 195 degrees, your Aprilia starts to pull power from the engine. We change this to 185 degrees.

The graph below represents a 2020 Ducati Panigale V2 (same engine as the Streetfighter V2) with aftermarket exhaust. You can see how the power get extremely "jerky" in the low and mid-range RPM. If you look below the power graph you can clearly see the issue. Without proper tuning the AFR (air/fuel ratio) spikes to 19.0:1. Something this lean (lack of proper fueling) is actually harmful to your motorcycle and may damage engine components after extended use.
